CAM FieldOps Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of CAM FieldOps — the web application at fieldops.camurren.com and the CAM FieldOps mobile app for iOS and Android — published by C.A. Murren & Sons Co., Inc. (“CAM”, “we”, “us”). By signing in or using the app you agree to them.
CAM FieldOps is a private, internal construction-operations system. It is not offered to the public. Access is limited to CAM personnel and to contractor, client and partner personnel whom CAM has authorized and issued an account. How the app handles your information is described in the Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.
Your account
- Your account is personal to you. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and do not share your session with anyone else.
- CAM may suspend or remove access at any time, including when your employment or engagement with CAM ends.
- If you believe your account has been used without your authority, tell CAM IT immediately using the contact details below.
Acceptable use
Use CAM FieldOps only for CAM business and only as your role permits. In particular, do not:
- access, copy or export project, financial, personnel or client information beyond what your work requires;
- attempt to circumvent access controls, probe or test the system’s security, or interfere with its operation;
- enter information you know to be false, or submit records on behalf of someone else without authority;
- disclose information from the app to anyone not authorized to receive it. Some project information is subject to contractual and government confidentiality requirements, and CAM’s policies on handling it apply to your use of the app.
Content and records
Records you create in CAM FieldOps — daily reports, forms, photos, time entries, correspondence and the like — are business records of CAM and, where applicable, of the project owner. CAM may retain, use and disclose them as its contractual, legal and insurance obligations require. Do not upload material you do not have the right to share.
Availability and changes
CAM FieldOps is provided as a working tool and may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn at any time. CAM makes no warranty that it will be available or error-free, and the app is not a substitute for CAM’s safety procedures, supervision or emergency reporting. In an emergency, call 911.
CAM FieldOps Alerts — text message (SMS) program terms
CAM FieldOps Alerts is an optional text message program that delivers urgent operational and safety notifications from CAM FieldOps to the mobile phones of CAM personnel who have opted in. The following terms apply to that program.
What you will receive
Time-sensitive alerts about your work — for example safety incidents on your project, schedule or weather changes, and approvals that need your action. Messages are informational and operational; the program sends no marketing or promotional content.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on activity on the projects you are assigned to. Alerts are event-driven; most recipients receive fewer than ten messages a month.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. CAM does not charge for the program, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply to messages you receive and send.
How to opt in
No one is enrolled automatically. You join by turning on text alerts in your own profile inside CAM FieldOps. The number used is the mobile number on your employee record. By opting in you consent to receive automated text messages from CAM at that number; consent is not a condition of employment or of using the app.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. You will receive one confirmation text and no further messages. You can also turn text alerts off in your profile inside the app. To rejoin, turn the setting back on or reply START.

Carriers and delivery
The program is supported by major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed; do not rely on a text alert as your only notice of a safety condition.
Privacy
How we handle your mobile number and opt-in status is described in the Privacy Notice. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be communicated through the app or by your CAM contact. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Where they overlap with your employment agreement, contract or CAM policy, that document controls.
